Jeggings 101
Jeggings are the hottest fall fashion and Lane Bryant’s style tips are sure to turn this “you’ve got to try it” trend into one of your favorite and most versatile looks.
A hybrid of denim and leggings with a hint of stretch, jeggings have more give than denim but are more substantial and forgiving than leggings. Even so, Jeggings aren’t for everyone. But, if you’re willing to give them a try you may find yourself a convert to their easy comfort, simple styling and versatility.
Keep these hints in mind when styling your jeggings:
Cover Your Butt –Your bottom isn’t meant to be bared and jeggings are never an over piece. Your behind needs to stay behind a long loose tunic, belted tunic, flowing top or cardigan that hits mid-thigh.
Avoid Tight Tops – An A-line cut will create a more balanced silhouette.
Darker Is Better – Dark rinses or black are most flattering.
Fancy Footwork – Jeggings look best with a heel, which keeps the slim and sleek leg line.

i bought a pair of the jeggings as capris and love them. still working the right shirts for them...but they are comfy, cute and easy to move around in. i am a nanny so its nice to be able to wear these in the summer, play with the children and still feel fashionable when we go out. awesome idea!! when i was at the mall...the gap is doing the same thing. interesting to me LOL

They are more comfortable than leggings and I love them.

Willo, it's to build up antisipation..of course! I wouldn't wear them personally, I like to have room for my legs to breathe. I stay away from synthetic material as much as possible, I love cotton, just hate that it shrinks. :(

If the Jeggings aren't going to be available in the stores and online until AUGUST .... then WHY are we having a massive marketing push towards them NOW? Our guests come in to the store after viewing the great window display, then see the giant banner behind the cash wrap and ask "Where are the Jeggings?" We have to tell them ... "Oh ... I'm sorry. We won't have those till August". They leave in frustration and our Conversion rates drop.

They are online Now. But I agree why the hype if they were not available?
