I used to run to LB to get the Figure magazine, so I could plan my wardrobe. Back in the day when the so-called plus size catalogs would come, I wrote letters and called that I would NEVER spend my money there until there were realistic models. A rep called me once and said "we only do this b/c large women dont want to see that. they want to see nice looking models" I was shocked. So now, I am happy and commend you for this ground-breaking collabo. Keep it up! BTW, I have been a 14-24 all my adult life.

It is a good start, but I still would like a even a little bit more realistic. I am guessing there was lots of airbrushing on this photo. Would an appearance of some cellulite or some stretch marks make these girls any less beautiful? Especially when they are calling them "plus sized"... I think it's a good start, but still not there on accepting reality as being as beautiful as magazine models.

Tarynjo, I'm SO agreeing with your comments. Although these women are bigger that many of your average models out there, they still look much skinnier than me and I'm a size 14/16 (more towards the 14 than the 16) I have complained to LB that these models are still not realistic enough considering the clothes they're trying to sell. Nevertheless I admire the effort, but I still believe there is some "skinny" pressure going on with these pictures/.

glad they finally put some real women on the cover. im 15 and im a 18/20 and seeing this lift my spirits of being plus sized. i want to be a model but i dont think i am the right type for it...

They look fabulous! I'm a 14/16 and occasionally 18/20 depending on what it is but I love seeing these women bare it all. Just because they aren't a size two doesn't make them unnattractive, they are gorgeous.
