Social Skills: 2010 Blogger Conference Highlights

 

Wow!

 

We spent a whirlwind day with 12 special bloggers whom we invited to share in the fun, fashion and friendship of the inaugural Lane Bryant Blogger Conference, celebrating the blossoming partnership of social media and fashion.

 

The bloggers were treated to the latest Lane Bryant fashion with personal shoppers, bra fittings and style advice followed by merchants and executives sharing exclusive previews of upcoming collections while bloggers enthusiastically asked questions and obtained answers for their followers who they instantly notified via Twitter, Facebook and other social media.

 

Another highlight of the day was the rare opportunity for the bloggers to converse with one of our favorite Lane Bryant models, Lizzie Miller.  Lizzie was able to talk one-on-one with the bloggers via Skype (think video conference) from London and her latest photo shoot.  How fun is that?!

 

The lucky dozen also received an awesome makeover and personalized photo shoot to show off their new outfits and individuality.  

 

We closed out the night with a celebratory dinner and hours of girlfriend chitchat – the perfect way to cap off a perfect day.

 

All had a great time!
